Chiang Mai is a small town in the midst of beautiful national parks in the north of Thailand. The facility, surrounded by greenery, is located 18 km northeast of Chiang Mai.
Built in 2014, this disability-friendly resort consists of several buildings and pavilions that are generously distributed in a tropical park. There are around 40 places for care and 40 places for active seniors. The apartments are located in 6 pavilion villas. In addition, there are several luxurious holiday villas in a separate part of the property. Family members can easily stay here during their visits. The main building houses the reception, the travel agency, a bakery, the souvenir shop and the administration, as well as the restaurant with an outdoor area. In the private vegetable garden salad and vegetables are organically grown. They supplement at least 50% of the food in the resort. A private well supplies magnetically treated drinking water. The spa building features a sauna, an infrared cabin, a hairdresser and a massage parlor. The outdoor area has many walking paths, a boules court, a ping-pong table, a darts court, a barbecue, a yoga pavilion and a wheelchair-accessible swimming pool with a sunbathing terrace.

Approximately 110 Thai employees take care of the well-being of the elderly. For the dementia afflicted alone, 30 nurses work for 12 senior citizens. Due to various cooperation agreements with nursing schools in Bangkok, nursing students regularly come to the institution for internships. Many stay there after training as employees, which speaks for the good quality of the facility. The management consists of 3 German speaking Swiss. They are also contact persons for the seniors.
The seniors are cared for by the Kit Wood care concept. The person-centred care corresponds to the European, modern care standard. The care is in English. German-speaking employees are occasionally available. An employment plan with daily events is offered. There is a travel agency where excursions can be booked for a fee. 2 excursions per week are included. There is also a daily shuttle service to Chiang Mai.
